A trusted name in the media industry for more than 125 years, the BDN has proudly delivered content and advertising to statewide audiences via our many print products and website, bangordailynews.com.
Advancements in technology are rapidly changing the dynamics of how people get and consume information. As more and more of us rely on mobile and digital devices to keep informed and make decisions, it makes sense that all businesses (the BDN included) must adapt to fully reach customers.
Recognizing this as the direction we must move in, BDN President Todd Benoit unveiled his plan in the fall of 2014, introducing a new business unit to bring more digital content and better digital business solutions to our already strong BDN brand. With that, BDN Maine was born.
BDN Maine is a digital business unit created to focus on the ever growing need of all businesses to find and interact with customers or potential customers online. To assist with this journey, BDN Maine announced a partnership with Dream Local Digital of Rockland to launch statewide digital marketing services to clients in early 2015. Dream Local Digital founder Shannon Kinney has worked with the BDN on many projects over the last 8 years and she and her team were perfect to lead BDN Maine forward.
Partnership with Dream Local Digital will allow the BDN Maine team to fast-forward efforts and gain quick access to industry best practices, experienced product managers and a sales team that can quickly hit the ground running to grow revenue and audience. With focuses on user generated content, new product development, audience research and a suite of digital marketing services, BDN Maine is poised to become the digital solution for both advertising and consumer customers.
